The Fundacion Liceo Ingles is located in Pereira, Colombia. The school itself only has about 500 students, grades K - 12. I will be teaching English - the subject, not the language, to 11th and 12th graders. The school is a bilingual, private day school (as opposed to a boarding school). Students are taught in English and Spanish until their secondary years start (high school age) and then are taught only in English. It is located on the edge of town in the middle of the coffee growing region. I've been told the temperature is about 72 - 80 degrees every day, all year round, but that because the town is in the rainforest, it rains almost every day and the humidity is high.
Here are some pics of where I will be teaching. I took them straight off the school's website....I promise to post my own pics once I am in Pereira!!!

somewhere on campus :-)
it can't rain too hard if all the hallways are open like this!

somewhere else on campus!
No clue where this is, but I love turtles - they are amazing creatures!!!
So, I'm taking it as good sign that there is one on campus!
another place somewhere on campus :-)
Here is the school's website....it's in Spanish though!
